In 2008 the future of Macklin Controls UK was secured by the directors of Highnett Ltd. The two businesses combine to make a perfect partnership in the provision of switchgear and controls systems.
Macklin Controls has been associated with Newbury for many years, but latterly has been dormant in terms of new activity. The company continues to sell switchgear, changeover switches and isolators to its wholesale customer base.
Since its purchase it has focused on forging links with a number of companies to provide specialist control panels for uses such as controlling photovoltaic cells and wind generators to help others reduce their carbon footprint, and other uses that embrace today business and industrial needs.
We provide our customers with technical advice and quick delivery, giving the customer a comprehensive package for an economical price.
Macklin Controls is conscious of environmental issues and works towards recycling materials, packaging and saving energy.
